CFB: Kansas State Rises to #6 in Latest AP Poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas State rose past their neighbors from Kansas on Saturday. On Sunday, the rise continues.
The latest Associated Press College Football poll shows K-State rising to number six overall. That’s one spot better than last week for the Wildcats, who recorded a 56-16 victory over KU in the Sunflower Showdown.
Defending BCS National Champion Alabama remains at number one again this week. Missouri welcomes in the Crimson Tide to Farout Field in Columbia, Mo. this Saturday.
Kansas State travels to Iowa State this coming Saturday, trying to run its record to (6-0) overall. That kickoff is set for 11 a.m. Kansas (1-4) hosts Oklahoma State at 2:30 p.m. the same afternoon. -srm
