Filmmaker Highlights President Truman’s Relationship with “Boss Tom”

“Boss Tom” Pendergast was the man behind the powerful political machine that controlled Kansas City politics in the 1920s and 1930s. A new film explores his complex relationship with Harry Truman. Local filmmaker Terence O’Malley told us about his new film, “Tom & Harry: The Boss and the President.”
