Man Killed in KCMO Shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A person is dead following a shooting on the city’s East Side on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Kansas City Missouri Police, officers were called to a reported shooting at a home in the area of 34th and Indiana around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.  Police say that officers found a shooting victim – identified only as a black male in his 20′s – in the front yard. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Witnesses say that they observed a black male wearing a black hoodie fleeing the scene on foot immediately after the shooting.
