Police ID Woman Killed in OP Hit-and-Run Accident

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Authorities are investigating following a fatal hit-and-run accident in Overland Park late Tuesday night.

Police say that a woman, identified as 35-year-old Tiana J. Beal of Overland Park, was struck by a vehicle on W. 71st Street just east of Metcalf around 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Beal was taken to an area hospital where she later died of her injuries.

Authorities say that they have located the vehicle in question, and that no arrests have been made in the case, which is still under investigation.
