Video: Firefighters Rescue Dog From Roof of Burning Home

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A crafty dog found its way to the roof of a house Monday afternoon at 23rd and Montgall when the home caught fire.

When firefighters arrived at about 12:40 p.m., they could see flames in the second floor of the home.

Somehow the dog got out of the second floor and managed to jump onto the roof, where firefighters rescued it.

The house was reportedly vacant.

No other injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
