Terrifying Night On the Job When Robbers Bust In
SEDALIA, Mo. — Authorities in Sedalia are investigating after an armed robbery at a fast-food restaurant which was caught on surveillance video.
According to investigators, four suspects – each wearing bandanas over their faces and at least one armed with a semi-automatic pistol – barged inside a Sonic restaurant around closing time on Tuesday night.
One of the suspects grabbed a female worker and pushed her to the ground while two other suspects ordered a male manager to give them money from a safe.
“They just come in with the gun and say give me all the money basically and point the gun at them and of course, the employees handed them the money because they feared for their lives, ” says Sedalia Police Department Detective Daniel Benner.
The two employees were not injured in the robbery. Police say the robbers fled the scene on foot with about $300.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to call the Sedalia Police Department.
