Special Offers for Veterans

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — On Veterans Day, many businesses are saying thank you to veterans with free or special offers.

At the National Word War I Museum, a wreath was presented to remember those who did not return home.

“A lot of veterans who are out there today unemployed who have a difficult time returning back to the workforce, returning back homes and families.. this is a day to remember their sacrifice and service that they did for their country, and how they continue to fight when they come home,” said Jared Rudacille, an Army Major.
