Police Release Photo of Suspected Credit Card Thief

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman suspected of stealing another woman’s credit cards.

Overland Park police said on Nov. 25, around 7 p.m., the victim went to a local health club, leaving her purse inside her vehicle.

When she returned, she noticed one of her windows was smashed and her purse missing. The victim said she had a large number of items inside her purse, including credit cards. Her credit cards were later used at several retail establishments in the area. Police said the total loss on just one card was over $3,000.
