Police Looking for KCMO Home Robbery Suspects

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating two suspects who are believed to have robbed a woman at her East Side home on Friday afternoon.

According to Kansas City Missouri Police, the two suspects knocked on the woman’s door at her apartment near 31st and Park around 4:50 p.m. When she answered the door, she was faced with a man holding a gun. Police say that he and another suspect forced the woman to lay on the floor while they ransacked her apartment.

Police say tha the suspects took her phone, TV, wallet and computer before leaving. Approximately one hour later, the two men were seen on surveillance video using the victim’s stolen credit card at a market at 18th and Benton.

The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’02” wearing dark sweatpants, white shoes, a black hooded jacket, and a black hat with a red brim and white writing. The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’06” with a short faded haircut, wearing dark jeans, dark shoes, and a gray hooded sweatshirt under a black jacket.
