Bullet Fragment Hits Employee During Robbery

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A robbery at a fast food joint Saturday morning left one employee hurt.

Kansas City, Mo., police said someone held up the Sonic at Independence and Jackson avenues Saturday and shot a gun towards the floor.

A bullet fragment hit an employee in the forehead. They are expected to be OK.

Police are waiting to review surveillance video to see if it will lead to any clues about the robber.
