Recycle Used Christmas Trees, Lights In KCMO
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The city of Kansas City, Mo. will help you get rid of your real and artificial Christmas trees, even your lights, beginning Wednesday.
Lighting can be dropped off at one of the city’s three recycling centers:
- 400 NW Barry Rd.
- 4707 Deramus Ave.
- 9051 Hillcrest Road.
Trees can be recycled at one of the city’s two leaf and brush drop-off centers:
- 1815 N. Chouteau Trafficway (just south of the Missouri river)
- 10301 Raytown Road (south of Interstate 470).
Drop-off centers are open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Jan. 12, 2013. Proof of residency is required, the city said.
