KANSAS CITY, Mo. –  Andy Reid will be officially introduced as the team’s new coach Monday, and that is sparking a new sense of revival for Chiefs fans.

Watch Andy Reid’s introduction as Chiefs coach LIVE on FOX 4 and fox4kc.com’s live stream on Monday at 1 p.m.

Many say their spirit was deflated for several years. Some fans said they even stopped being a fan after a dismal last season.

“That season was pretty pathetic. They barely made an effort,” fan Michael Denk said.

But a new era begins for the team. General manager Scott Pioli is out and so is head coach Rommeo Crennel. Coming in is former head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, Andy Reid.

“If we don’t get a coach like Andy Reid I would’ve definitely had to think twice before going to games even or really being a fan,” fan Jay Harig said.

Some fans said the move is showing them that there is true change happening within the organization.
