Reward Offered in Finding Who Stole Guns from Police, Sheriff Cars

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police want to catch the people who stole guns and other gear out of cars belonging to the Kansas City Police Department and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said the crimes happened Sunday near 75th Street and Lee’s Summit Road.

Officials announced Tuesday there would be a $6,000 reward offered for information leading to an arrest.
