Westboro Baptist Church ‘Obama Antichrist’ Protest Fails
WASHINGTON — Westboro Baptist Church was in Washington, D.C. on Monday attempting to protest President Obama’s second inauguration.
However, judging by the turnout, they failed miserably.
The group of about a half dozen protesters were confined to a penned area, the Huffington Post reported. And there appeared to be way more signs than protestors.
Ringleader Margie Phelps tweeted a few pictures of the event, including this one posted below:
That's a lot of happy Westboro picketers on Pennsylvania Ave. in front of the Capitol of Fag Marriage. #obama http://t.co/BYt8nONK

In total, the photos were retweeted just 10 times between each other.
The group recently made news in December after more than 280,000 people signed a petition on the White House website to consider them a “hate group.”
