Shawnee Man Dies After Falling Off 10th Floor of Parking Garage

SAN ANTONIO, Tex. — A 25-year-old from Shawnee, Kan., died early Sunday after falling from a 10th floor parking garage at a downtown San Antonio mall.

Peter Clevinger was found dead between the garage and a building around 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

Two of his roommates were with him at the time of the accident and were questioned by police. Police believe Clevinger was intoxicated when he fell.

“We’re still not quite sure what happened, but it appears to have been one of those horrific accidents,” the victim’s father, Ralph Clevinger, told MySanAntonio.com.

Clevinger was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base. He went to St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Olathe and later attended Benedictine College.

His Facebook profile listed Shawnee, Kan., as his hometown.
