Woman Stabbed at Blue Springs Motel

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. — A woman is in critical condition after being stabbed at a Blue Springs motel on Monday evening.

According to Blue Springs Police, the 35-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times in the chest by her 51-year-old estranged husband at the Knight’s Inn in the 3400 block of NW Jefferson Street around 8:00 p.m.

Police say that both the suspect and the victim resided at the motel, but lived in different rooms on different floors.

Neither the victim nor the suspect have been identified. The suspect is in custody pending charges from the Jackson County Prosecutor’s office, while the victim remains in critical condition at an area hospital.
