Cherry Berry and Banana Peanut Butter Breakfasts-In-A-Jar
Cherry Berry Breakfast-In-A-Jar
Serves: 1
All you need:
- 1 (5.3 oz) container Greek non-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1/3 cup steel-cut oats
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1-2 tsp milled chia seed
- 1/3 cup frozen Cherry Berry Blend fruit
- Cinnamon, as desired
All you do:
- Combine yogurt, oats, milk and chia in a small bowl.
- Alternately layer yogurt/oatmeal mixture with frozen fruit in a pint canning jar. Sprinkle cinnamon on top as desired. Cover with lid.
- Refrigerate overnight or up to 2 days.
- Enjoy chilled.
Banana Peanut Butter Breakfast-In-A-Jar
Serves: 1
All you need:
- 1 (5.3 oz) container Greek non-fat yogurt
- 1/3 cup steel-cut oats
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1-2 tsp milled chia seed
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter (may substitute PB2 powdered peanut butter)
- 1/4 cup diced ripe banana, or enough to fill jar (approximately half a small banana)
All you do:
- Combine yogurt, oats, milk, chia and peanut butter in pint canning jar.
- Cover the jar with lid and shake until well combined. Remove lid, add bananas and stir until mixed throughout.
- Cover with lid
- Refrigerate overnight or up to 2 days.
- Enjoy chilled.
