Two injured in weekend gas station shooting
GRANDVIEW, Mo. — Two men suffered non-life threatening wounds after an early morning shooting at a gas station on Sunday.
Officers said an argument between the two men resulted in an exchange of gunfire just after 3 a.m. Sunday. Two victims were seen and treated at local hospitals, and one of the victims was released.
After a South Kansas City night club had closed for the night, some patrons gathered in the parking lot of a gas station on Blue Ridge. The argument that led to the shooting occurred in the 11900 block of Blue Ridge, police said.
Grandview and Kansas City officers responded and located two vehicles and a few people who are thought to be involved.
An ongoing investigation of the shooting is being conducted by Grandview detectives.
