Parents say TSA agent went too far when he told their daughter to cover up
LOS ANGELES — A TSA agent who works at LAX is being accused of harassing a 15-year-old girl for what she was wearing.
The girl’s father, who is a blogger, says the agent looked at his daughter’s ID, commented on her age and told her to cover herself up.
The man has filed a formal complaint saying the TSA shouldn’t shame anyone. The teen has also asked for an apology.
“I would tell him he has absolutely no right telling my daughter what she can and can’t wear,” Serena’s father said.
Serena’s mother says what is strange is that the girl was wearing a long-sleeved shirt at the time.
A TSA spokesperson says they’re reviewing the incident.
