Police: Filled pot pipe found in Burger King kids’ meal
DUNDEE, Mich. — A Michigan child didn’t have it their way after finding a pipe filled with marijuana inside his kid’s meal.
Police the quick-thinking grandfather immediately went back to the Burger King and asked to speak with a manager and police. It’s also when he noticed something suspicious in the parking lot.
After seeing an employee of the restaurant acting strange with two other people in the parking lot, “He wrote down a description of the car and gave a license plate, wrote it down and gave it to my officer when he arrived at the scene and my officer was able to locate those two suspects and they admitted to what was going on,” Chief David Uhl with the Dundee Police Department told WTOL-TV.
Three people ended up being arrested, including the Burger King employee, the station said.
Police said they still aren’t sure how the pipe ended up in the meal, but all three were issued citations for possession of drug paraphernalia, WTOL said. The trio also face pending charges for possession of marijuana.
Other charges could follow, police said.
