Passed out cold. Without a pulse.
That’s what happened to Marek Michalski, 56, in Piotrkow, Poland.
People thought he was dead, so they called authorities. Michalski was declared dead and transported to the morgue where he woke up later in a body bag.
“I remember sitting on a bench and the next thing I woke up in a morgue,” he said.
Michalski screamed for help before he managed to escape the body bag. He said he has nightmares about the incident, dreaming he’s “sliced up by doctors who don’t realize I’m alive.”
Michalski intends to sue the hospital, which defends its staff saying they believed he was dead and followed appropriate procedures by placing him in a body bag.
