KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Six people were injured Wednesday morning when a van ran a stop sign and crashed into an ATA bus.
The accident happened around 9:45 a.m. near 11th and Harrison in Kansas City, Mo. Police said the van was traveling north on Harrison Street when it ran a stop sign and collided with the ATA bus traveling west on 11th Street.
Five people were initially thought to be injured, however Darin Snapp with the Kansas City, Mo., Police Department later confirmed that two people in the van and four people on the bus suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.
No other information has been made available at this time.
