Police identify man shot, killed on Euclid Ave.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police have identified a man shot and killed in a home in the 2400 block of Euclid Avenue in Kansas City, Mo., on Monday as Mark D. Jackson, 23. Another person was also shot and injured but is expected to survive.

Police said the shooting happened 10:30 a.m. Monday. When officers arrived, they found the two victims inside the residence. Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene. The other shooting victim, a man who lived in the home, was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. He is reportedly in stable condition.

Police said they believe the two men shot each other, but it’s unknown as to why.
