Wet roads may be to blame for morning accidents
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Slick roads may be to blame for a van that went off the road and crashed into a home’s porch early Friday morning in Kansas City, Mo.
The incident happened near 49th and The Paseo around 7:30 a.m. No injuries were reported.
Earlier Friday morning around 3:15 a man lost control at a curve on County Line Road near Roe Ave., in Kansas City, Kan. Police said he spun out and crashed into a guardrail. Firefighters had to go down a wooded embankment to rescue him. He was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
Police are not sure what caused the accident but suspect speed and wet roads may have played a factor.
