KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A metro entrepreneur is combining his love for Kansas City and video games in hopes of giving gamers a new adventure.

"Very cool place, I love Kansas City, lived here all my life, definitely has that inspiration," said Troy Jagusch.

Jagusch loves Kansas City and, in particular, one piece of its past.

"We feel Kansas City plays a historic place in the organized crime scene," explained Jagusch.

"Kansas City: The Video Game" will have an updated mobster theme.

"This game will immerse you into sort of a movie like feel where you're almost a playable character in a video game," explained Jagusch.

The game is still in its early stages, but Jagusch already has some experience attached to the project, including actor and metro resident, Victor Raider Wexler.

"When people relate to him they think of the doctor from Seinfeld or the boss from King of Queens, and that's what he is in our production, the boss!" said Jagusch.

Jagusch also cornered the gaming market in sex appeal in the form of Vida Guerra.

"She took home the Spike Video Game Award for the "Best Female" in a video game, hoping to recapture some of that magic in a performance like that to bring to our title," he said.

Mix mafia and sexiness together for a video game and Jagusch says the content won't be for the young.

"It has what I call the three c's: Compelling, captivating and it's controversial," he explained.

The content has scared off some potential investors, but Jagusch isn't worried. He wants to keep his concept real, and hopefully quit his day job of laying carpet.

"I want to get off my hands and knees and, you know, get behind some designing software and watch some designers make this thing happen, really an awesome dream and I'm starting to see it get closer and closer and it's really, really exciting. It really is," he said.

If all goes to plan, Kansas City: The Video Game could be out in 2016. If you want more information on its development, click on this link. For other information, click on this link for the game's Facebook page, or this link for the game's Twitter account.
