Matthew of YouTube 'Listen, Listen, Listen Linda' fame

The 3-year-old who went viral on the internet for his compelling arguing skills with his mother over a cupcake, has finally gotten his treat.

The strong little boy and his mother Linda visited the Ellen Degeneres Show on Tuesday, where Matthew received more cupcakes than his little hands could grasp.

Linda said Matthew is a frequent debater. Ellen asked her why Matthew calls her Linda.

“When he’s serious and he really wants to get his point across, then we become Linda and Kenneth,” his mommy said.

Kenneth is Matthew’s father. He also has a two-year-old little brother, Kevin.

Linda received a surprise from Ellen, as well.

There is a time and place for debating and this is neither.
Talk about rewarding inappropriate behavior… obnoxious, disrespectful, abusive, bullying; this takes the cake.
Someone needs to be honest with these parents about the damage that is being done to this child 😦

It’s cute now. I sincerely hope this kid gets over his “debating” before he goes to school.
Can you imagine a kid in kindergarten or 1st grade “debating” his teacher?
When he does get the floor he makes no sense.
Calling adults by their first names should only be done w/the adults consent. It’s disrespectful.

I think it’s great to let children express themselves. He is not being rude. He wasn’t cussing or throwing a tantrum or being inappropriate. I have a 4 yr old who is verbally expressive and I love her character.

This child is so completely disrespectful! I can’t believe anyone would think this is cute let alone reward his behavior and glamorize it. Ridiculous! Ellen should be ashamed.
