Video: Train selfie goes terribly, terribly wrong

The ultimate selfie fail — so terrible it could have ended tragically for one man.

Jared Michael attempted to take a video selfie in front of a passing train — at a ‘safe distance,’ according to him. However, it didn’t go as planned. In fact, it went terribly wrong, as the conductor reached out and whacked him in the head with his big, black boot.

Or did he? Some think the video was staged, even altered. Take a look at the pictures and video below and decide for yourself.

Most likely true..I work for.the railroad as a conductor and I see idiots like that all the time. The train wasn’t going fast enough to hurt this guy, besides the conductor (which is what I am and the guy on the platform) could have easily stuck his foot out to push this guy away from the rail. We’ve hit people at 20mph and they have been fine before..depends on how they get hit. Plus this guy wasn’t on the track, he was next to it taking a selfie. He wouldn’t have gotten hit by the train had he not been kicked though it would have been close.
