NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man is reported to have non-life threatening injuries, but for the second-straight Friday night there has been a shooting at a metro gas station. FOX 4’s Eric Burke reports that the victim was at a QuikTrip gas pump at Armour Road and 210 Highway when he was struck by gunfire.

Police haven’t supplied any information about the suspect or the car that suspect may have been driving. The victim was taken to a hospital Friday night and is expected to recover. The gas station was closed on Friday night and will remain that way until officers clear the scene.

A week ago Friday night police say a suspected gunman named Dontae Jefferson fired eight shots into a car at a BP gas station at 45th and Cleveland, fatally striking dad Ka’Vyea Curry and critically injuring his 10-year-old son Ka’Vyea Tyson.

If you have information about this shooting call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
