OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Starting Wednesday, May 28, if you drive Roe Ave over I-435, be ready to be inconvenienced.
The Kansas Dept. of Transportation is replacing old bridges over the highway, with the hope of finishing by the fall.
Prep work begins Wednesday with lanes closing, then the Roe bridges over the highway are expected to close at 9 .m. on Friday, May 30.
On Saturday by 10 p.m., the highway will be shut down between Nall Ave. and Roe.
The highway should reopen at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
