KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Thanks to one Kansas City man you can keep up with the World Cup right from your smartphone. Roman Katchaluba worked with his uncle for more than six months to develop ‘Futbol=MC2’.
It's an app that will let soccer fans keep up with games, teams and player injuries. The app also offers predictions for wins and losses. The developer says more than 500 people have downloaded the app from all over the world, including Venezuela, Mexico and Brazil.
“My hope is that people will download the app, learn the game, that our predictions will be accurate, and that people will enjoy the information,” Katchaluba said.
The app is free and available to Android and Kindle users. It is not yet available through Apple.
