TEMPE, Ariz. — Two gunmen broke into an apartment  while the occupant was playing an online video game. Unbeknownst to them, the woman’s computer camera streamed the incident to players around the world.

Nikki Elise, a.k.a Sajedene, was playing “Defense of the Ancients” while live streaming through her popular channel on Twitch.tv when the break-in occurred, Mashable reported. After hearing a loud noise, Elise gets up to investigate. A short time later, a man with a gun walks through the shot.

Other DOTA players uploaded the video to YouTube, desperate to figure out their online friend’s real name and where she lived so they could send help. Eventually, someone apparently recognized Elise and called police.

Elise and a male in the apartment were not badly hurt, police said. One suspect was caught after a short chase, while a second man escaped.
