Orrick man arrested following search of his home for explosives

ORRICK, Mo. -- A 58-year-old man is in custody following a search for explosives in his Orrick Mo., home. Mo.

Authorities said residents notified police after hearing the man, who has not been identified pending charges, talking about illegally using explosive devices.

"If you see something's that not right, if you see a square peg in a round hole, pick up the phone, call your local police department, call the highway patrol, call the country patrol, call your sheriff's department, call your federal law enforcement partners, and that's why we're here," one ATF agent said at the scene.

Authorities said the public is not in danger.
