KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Thousands of employees at Children’s Mercy Hospital have been involved in a security breach, but the information probably won’t put them at-risk for identity theft.

The security breach involves more than 4,000 employees and their spouses who signed up online for a wellness program back in 2012.

When the breach was discovered recently, all the information was pulled from the site.

At this point, it looks like information from as many as 4.076 people may have been compromised. But the information only involved names, addresses, both home and email and birth dates.

Personal information like bank account numbers and social security numbers were not included when the people signed up.

According to the Kansas City Star, officials don’t believe they will be at-risk for identity theft.
