Royals take time from pennant chase to make memories for young fans

LENEXA, Kan. -- Some Kansas City Royals players, coaches and even the announcers took a break from the Hunt for October to do some good in the community Thursday.

On their night off before a monster series with American League Central division leading Detroit, they signed autographs for play-by-play announcer Ryan Lefebvre's "Gloves for Kids" program.
