KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Operation Breakthough is the largest early-education facility in Missouri. They have been open for nearly 35 years and serve more than 400 children each year. The facility will open its doors on Tuesday and will showcase $25,000 worth of renovations.

"I can't wait to see their reaction because there's a lot of pieces that will mean something, not necessarily to other people, but to them," said Stephanie Stroud, interior designer. "And blowing up the kids artwork and using pictures of the sisters and naming the closets after the sisters in the park and things like that that will be really special and kind of above and beyond what they expect."

Operation Breakthrough now has a workroom for parents. It's a place where they can access the Internet for job searches and visit with each other and meet with social workers.
