KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Comfort Dental in Kansas City, Mo., is providing free dental care on Christmas Eve. It's their 31st annual Care Day, and all general dentistry offices across the country are participating. Patients are served on a first-come, first-served basis and the service is open to everybody.

"It's a blessing to be able to have people come in and give back to the community for this," Tyler Sumner, patient, said. "Dental insurance isn't cheap, that's for sure, so for us to be able to have this given to us for basically free is a gift, in my book."

Doors opened at 7:30 a.m. Last year Comfort Dental offices saw over 5,000 patients, amounting to approximately $1.5 million in free care.
