BURBANK, Calif. — Investigators believe the tragic death of Greg Plitt, 37, a good-looking reality star, fitness model, actor and army veteran apparently happened after he lost his footing Saturday while filming on train tracks.

He was filming with two other men when he was struck and killed by a southbound Metrolink train.

Officials quickly determined that Plitt did not intend to take his own life.

Burbank police Sgt. Chris Canales says witnesses reported that the train’s horn was blaring before he was struck.

Plitt is best known for his role on the Bravo series “Work Out” and had a part in the new reality show “Friends to Lovers.” Plitt’s website says he appeared on more than 200 magazine covers.
