KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A man was reunited with his truck and dog Monday, according to his Facebook post.

"Thanks all for help support, especially thanks to KCPD for helping us find Mack and my truck!" Jon Nee posted on his Facebook page.

Nee said his truck was stolen with his hunting dog inside Sunday night in Brookside.

Nee said he was outside his truck and his two-year-old black retriever "Mack" was inside. Seconds later, Nee said he saw a ram truck fly down the street. He jumped out of the way, allowing the crooks to jump inside the truck and take off with the dog.

“It happened so fast and the way they did it seemed so organized. They had seven to 10 second window and they took it,” Nee said.

Nee was getting ready to take his fiance out to dinner when his truck and dog disappeared.

A $500 reward was offered to help bring the dog home.
