WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A bobcat’s wild catch was caught on camera.
Photographer John Bailey said he was vacationing in Vero Beach, Fla. when he saw a bobcat on the beach.
According to the photographer, the bobcat was staring into the Atlantic Ocean and watching a shark feed on fish before he pounced.
“It looked initially like it was going for fish, but it was a shark,” Bailey said.
Biologist said they believe the shark was a three-feet long Atlantic sharp nose.
According to Bailey, as soon as the bobcat noticed him, the bobcat dropped the shark and ran.
“I was so fascinated, I didn’t think about being in danger,” Bailey said.
The photo has since been shared on social media hundreds of times.
