KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police responded to a fatal shooting on Kansas City's east side on Thursday night. One person was killed near 62nd and Agnes and police are working to determine if another shooting victim who arrived to a hospital with a gunshot wound was at the same scene.
KCPD Captain Tye Grant told FOX 4's Melissa Stern that the fatal victim was found dead inside a car. The incident was originally called a double shooting, but an investigation is ongoing to see if the victims were shot at the same time. The second shooting victim suffered a wound to their hand and is expected to survive.
