KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police have reunited a wandering child with an adult Friday morning.

Police said a woman driving near 39th and Agnes found a male child wandering around 6:15 a.m.

Police responded to the scene after receiving a call that a child had been found.

Police have not commented on the age of the child but did say the babysitter came and picked up the boy.

No injuries were reported. The child was dressed for the weather.

According to police, the child’s mother dropped him off at a babysitter’s home near 38th and Belfountaine around 5:30 a.m. The door at the home was left open and the baby sitter didn’t realized the child had left the home.
