KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Firefighters helped remove a man from his vehicle following a crash late Friday morning.
Firefighters said the accident happened around 10:50 a.m. at the intersection of Blue River Road and Hickman Mills Drive.
According to the victim, a vehicle that was driving about 100 mph tried to pass him and forced him to swerve off of the road.
The victim's vehicle traveled off the roadway and 20 feet down an embankment.
The victim, who wished not to be named, said he did not suffer any injuries because he was wearing his seat belt.
