Man found dead in KCMO

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man was found dead Friday afternoon in Kansas City, Mo. , according to police.

Police said the man was found in the 10600 block of 42nd Street. Officers said they had been dispatched to the scene on reports of a disturbance.

Police said that when they arrived they discovered a victim who had been injured.

According to police, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the death is being investigated as a homicide.

Police have not yet released the identity of the victim.
