KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City man  pleaded guilty Monday to three felony cases.

According to prosecutors, Andre Blocker, 53, pleaded guilty to kidnapping, second-degree robbery and first-degree burglary in connection to a September 2014 case.

Court documents said Blocker allegedly robbed a woman and kidnapped her from a home in the 900 block of Broadway.

Prosecutors said that the victim was asleep when she heard her bedroom door open up. The victim told police that Blocker apologized then closed the door. Then Blocker allegedly came back into her bedroom and demanded her valuables. The victim claimed that before Blocker left, he tied her up and told her to wait 45 minutes to call police.

According to court documents, Blocker gained access to the victim’s apartment after he cut through the Sheetrock that separated  the victim’s apartment from a maintenance closet. The hole was described as nearly 12 inches by 12 inches.

Blocker will have a sentencing hearing on July 31.
