Police are searching for this man who they say goes by Jordan

Jordan Gonzales

Officers surrounded a home in the 4800 block of Homestead Terrace just before 5 a.m. after hearing reports of a disturbance.

Police said the standoff stemmed from a domestic violence incident. Jordan Gonzales and his girlfriend were arguing over a utility bill when the two began to wrestle. In the process a gun was fired. Police said no one was injured during the altercation.

Gonzales took off into the woods after the disturbance, according to police.  Police then searched a wooded area near the home with a canine unit and contacted Gonzales via text message when they heard reports that he wanted to harm himself.

"Well we've gotten some information from the gentleman himself, from Jordan himself, that he wants to harm himself so that way now we're considering him a threat to himself, and we want to get him help ," Sgt. Bill Holland said.

Police said Gonzales might face charges in regards to the domestic disturbance.
