MERRIAM, Kan. — Repair crews were on the scene of a water main break late Tuesday morning and were working to repair a portion of 67th Street near I-35.

Mary Cawby with Water One in Johnson County said the water main is a private fire line and only affects a nearby credit union.

Cawby said the water main break is a result of damage to the street.

Water One told FOX 4 that they initially had to turn off water to 200 customers until they could pinpoint the problem.
