Man allegedly points gun at Denny’s employee, refuses to pay for meal

KCMO police are investigating after three people allegedly left without paying for their meal.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — KCMO police are investigating after three people allegedly ran up a tab at a restaurant and refused to pay Friday morning.

Police say they got a call around 7:15 a.m. that reported one male and two females went into Denny’s in the 3800 block of Blue Ridge Cutoff and ordered an amount of food that totaled to nearly $50.

Police say when the suspects got ready to leave they refused to pay the bill.

A man with the group allegedly displayed a gun,  asked the employee what they were going to do about it and then left.

Police are looking at surveillance video to determine more information about the suspects.
