OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Overland park police arrested a man for a “lewd act” at Oak Park Mall Friday afternoon.

Security officers who were monitoring the store’s closed circuit cameras found a man walking too closely to a female clerk around 4:20 p.m.

They then saw that he was using his camera phone to record her without her knowing. Police say that the suspect lowered the camera below the hemline of the clerk’s skirt.

Officers then arrested the man and took his phone for evidence.
