Four people arrested after reports of auto burglary in Shawnee

SHAWNEE, Kan. — Four people were arrested early Monday morning after police responded to reports of an auto burglary.

Police were dispatched to the 6000 block of Albervan just after 2 a.m.

Police said upon their arrival they noticed the vehicle that the suspects were believed to be in. Police stopped the vehicle and made contact with those inside. Upon their inspection, police found stolen merchandise inside of the vehicle.

All four people who had been in the car were arrested.

Police said they are still investigating.
