LENEXA, Kan. -- A domestic disturbance call causes a standoff in Lenexa Sunday night.

Around 8:30 p.m. Lenexa police were called to 77th and Halsey.

Police say a female involved talked to police, who determined the male involved should be arrested.

The man wouldn't come out of the apartment, according to police, so a standoff started and the building was evacuated.

Shortly after midnight the man was taken into custody. As of Monday charges were pending.
